Piedmont Community College students in the Digital Effects & Animation Technology program will have their work on display at Caswell Council for the Arts from March 16 – April 14. An opening reception will be held on March 16, 5-7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
The students will be presenting 25-30 pieces of art during the show. “Displaying work at an art show like this is important to the students,” shared Chelsea Porter, Instructor of Digital Effects and Animation Technology at PCC. “It fills them with a sense of pride and self-worth to see others admiring their creations – pieces they’ve spent a lot of time and energy in designing. It also shows the community the amazing talent we have at PCC.”
Caleb Brown, a student in PCC’s Digital Effects and Animation Technology program said, "Before I started this program I never imagined having my work in an art show. This is an exciting opportunity!"
Caswell Council for the Arts is located at 43 West Main Street in Yanceyville and is open 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday – Friday.
