PURPOSE OF POSITION

Coordinate institutional planning, research and evaluation activities to provide support for comprehensive program of institutional effectiveness consistent with the accreditation requirement of SACS-COC; provide institutional data and reports as required by NC Community College System and various needs of the College.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Experience and Knowledge

Requires Master’s degree with demonstrated research or Bachelor’s degree in a field related to institutional effectiveness with demonstrated currency and technical proficiency in the use of databases for research purposes, from a regionally accredited institution. Proficient with basic educational research design, statistics and strategic planning; have direct and recent experience with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC) requirements for accreditation.

 

SALARY           $70,008-$75,000 for a 12-month position with benefits


FRINGE BENEFITS

State Health Plan Options: Traditional 70/30 Plan employer-paid coverage, Enhanced 80/20 Plan employee-paid coverage for employee with premium credits (determines monthly premium/employee pays all dependent coverage) and Consumer Directed Health Plan with premium credits (determines monthly premium) made up of two components: a high deductible health plan and a Health Reimbursement Account (employee pays all dependent coverage). Membership in the Teachers’ and State Employees’ Retirement System which includes retirement benefits, short and long-term disability income plan and a death benefit; earn sick and annual leave; community service leave; other: employee-paid supplemental retirement plans and insurances: dental, vision, life, accident, disability, cancer insurance. Paid holidays as established by the College.

THE COLLEGE
Piedmont Community College (PCC) is a multi-campus two-year community college serving the counties of Person and Caswell, with a consolidated population of approximately 60,000 persons. The College is located 40 miles north of the booming Research Triangle Park and 50 miles northeast of the Piedmont Triad.
