How are Fall classes being offered?

In an effort to keep students, employees, and their families safe, we are offering Hybrid & Blended Classes that may have classes on Zoom, allowing for synchronous learning (some students in face-to-face on some days and watching off-campus via a live Zoom link on other dates). Speak with your advisor on details. Also see the KEY below to help read the Fall schedule via WebAdvisor and/or printable .pdf (see below for more instructions).

KEY for course listings in WebAdvisor:
1) First # after course name denotes delivery method:
* 4 = ITV Hybrid (more than 50% online)
* 6 = Hybrid (more than 50% online)
* 7 = Online
* 9 = Blended (less than 50% online)

2) Second # denotes the section number (not important to delivery method)

3) Letter denotes location: (C= Caswell County Campus; P= Person County Campus; None= Online)

EXAMPLE: ACA-122-41C = This ACA-122 course will be an ITV Hybrid course on the Caswell County Campus with more than 50% online.

Explanation of Methods of Course Delivery

You are in the classroom with an instructor for every class. Transportation to campus is needed for face-to-face classes.

A combination of Face-to-Face and Online (more than 50% online). You will have contact with your instructor in the classroom and will need to be motivated to complete course work online, outside of the classroom. Internet access is needed for hybrid classes.

A combination of Face-to-Face and Online (less than 50% online). Stay motivated and stay in communication with your instructor!

Multiple classrooms to learn from one instructor - Students are in a classroom and the instructor location will vary. He/She may be with you face-to-face on some dates and in another classroom communicating with you through two-way audio/video technology. Transportation to campus is needed for face-to-face classes.

Class is available online 24x7 – Students must be motivated to complete their work on their own with the ability to communicate with the instructor and other students via Blackboard, an online program. Internet access is needed for online classes.

Login Information


  1. On the main menu go to I’m new to WebAdvisor
  2. Enter your last name and EITHER your SS# or your ID number. Submit. You will be given a user name—your first initial, middle initial, last name, and last 2 numbers of your ID number.
  3. Select the email address you would like your temporary password  sent to. 
  4. Open your email and look for a message from Datatel which will give you your temporary password.
  5. Go back to the log in page and enter your username and temporary password. Then you will need to choose a new password which must be 6-9 characters long and must include at least 1 number. 
  6. After logging in, you can go to the student page to check your grades, register for classes, look at your schedule, or view your program requirements.

  • Under Academic Profile select grades

Scholarship Information

PCC Foundation Scholarship Application Open to All Students

Are you enrolled or enrolling in classes at PCC? If you currently have a 2.0 GPA or higher, you could qualify for a PCC Foundation Scholarship! Some of the awards are based on merit, while others take financial need into consideration.

Applications are accepted online through November 13 for the spring semester. Applications are evaluated by a committee of donors. Students are typically notified via email once recipients have been selected.

Use your PCC Blackboard user name and password information to sign in (application will be open until November 13). Funds available to use this spring at PCC. A complete application will include:

  • Completed PCC application (this will give you a PCC Student ID);
  • Completed FAFSA (use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari for best results);
  • Applicant's high school, homeschool, high school equivalency, and previous college transcripts to PCC's Student Development Office;
  • Emails for two individuals who will provide a recommendation letter for applicant (not related to applicant);
  • Detailed answers to scholarship application questions;

Remember: To be considered for a scholarship, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2020-21 and supply all necessary documentation to the Financial Aid office prior to the scholarship deadline. Click here to learn more about Financial Aid


Application Guidelines

  • Be complete when responding to application questions;
  • Applicants submit ONE application per cycle;
  • Maintain a 2.0  GPA and enroll in a minimum during the semester(s);
  • Scholarships awarded through the Foundation are only for use at Piedmont Community College;
  • Scholarships do not require repayment unless the terms of the scholarship are violated;
  • All scholarships are competitive and are based on criteria established by donors.

Selection Process

  • The selection committee assigns numerical scores to each essay question based on content, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Scholarship application evaluations are anonymous Applicant names, ID #s, and demographic information is omitted during the review.
  • Foundation scholarships are awarded based on the essay score and the scholarship criteria as set forth by the donor, including but not limited to: demonstrated financial need academic information (primary major, credits completed, etc.), and academic performance (GPA).
