Reaffirmation and Accreditation

Since our beginning in 1970, Piedmont Community College has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing quality educational opportunities for the people we serve. Our accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and our reaffirmation at regular intervals throughout our history proudly confirms our continuing commitment to excellence.
The College was reaffirmed in 2013, and we submitted a five-year report in 2018 which included a summary of the success of our quality enhancement project QR4U. Already we have been taking steps towards the 2023 reaffirmation process. PCC will soon begin developing a new Quality Enhancement Plan. Stay tuned, more information on this will be coming in the next few months.
