PCC Foundation – Donor Recognition & Privacy Commitment

At the Piedmont Community College Foundation, we value every gift and every donor who helps transform the lives of our students. We are committed to honoring your generosity in ways that reflect your wishes and protect your privacy.

How We Recognize Donors

  • Annual report
  • Website or impact pages
  • Event programs
  • Scholarship announcements
  • Donor walls or displays

You may choose how your name appears—or whether it appears at all.

Your Privacy Matters

The Foundation does not share, sell, or trade donor information with external organizations. Your personal information is used only for gift processing, stewardship, and Foundation business.

Your Right to Choose

At any time, you may request to:

  • Be listed by name with your giving level
  • Be listed by name only
  • Keep your gift amount private
  • Remain fully anonymous

We honor all recognition preferences to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Disclosure of PCC Foundation Fees and Assessments

In order to continue to build a culture of philanthropy, investing in the development, outreach, and operational efforts of the Foundation is vital to the future of PCC. Therefore, beginning July 1, 2022, a small fee or assessment on restricted gifts and on our endowment will be administered.

Ways to Give

There are many ways to support educational dreams. Choose what works best for you!

  • Cash Gifts (check or credit card) are tax deductible in the year given. Checks can be made payable to PCC Foundation!
  • Pledges (single or multiple payments) may be given for PCC’s greatest needs, designated to begin a scholarship endowment, or support a specific program.
  • Matching Gifts are often offered by employers. Ask your HR department if your organization with match a charitable gift.
  • In-Kind Gifts must fulfill a stated need of the College. Appraisals may be required. Ask for additional information.
  • Securities may be deducted at full market value without paying capital gains taxes on appreciated value. If you wish to donate securities over a holiday for end of year giving, and a Foundation Team member is not available, you can contact Edward Jones directly.
