At the start of each semester, all students enrolled in classes automatically receive 100 print credits in their PaperCut account at no cost. Please note that double-sided printing will count each side of the paper as a separate page!

Currently, two copiers are setup to utilize Papercut. They are located at:

  • Learning Commons, Person County Campus
  • Building K Lobby, Caswell County Campus

If you are an active student registered for the current semester, you may add print credits to your PaperCut account in the Business Office (Building A). If you have questions about this, please contact the IT Helpdesk.

Print credits may be refunded by the IT Helpdesk when issues arise. Refunds will only be granted for printer malfunctions by the IT Office Manager. Refunds will not be granted for human errors, such as printing blank pages or misconfiguring print/copy options.

  • You will be required to either turn in the prints to the Helpdesk (G204) before the refund will be approved.
  • Refunds are only issued as credit in your PaperCut account.
  • Any portion of the initial 100 credit allotment remaining at the end of the semester will NOT roll over to the next semester. These credits will reset between the Summer and Fall terms.
    • Monetary refunds will not be made for any portion of these credits.
  • Any remaining print credits added via cash or credit card will NOT roll over to the next semester.

My account never received credits

If you fail to receive your allotted 100 print credits after the beginning of the semester, this may be because you registered for classes after credits were distributed. If your PaperCut account is empty and you have not used any print credits, please visit the IT Helpdesk in G204 to have your credit applied. Please keep in mind that you will not receive the semester credit if you are not registered for classes for the current term.

The printer spooled up but did not release my prints

If you release it to the printer and it spools up then stops know that it will display no error, but you should not be charged for the job.

How do I add more credits to my account?

You can add credits to your account by visiting the Business Office in Building A on the Person County Campus. A minimum of $10 is required.
