On September 4, a group of community leaders convened by Brett Benton, Regional Manager for MyFutureNC, met to discuss data specific to Person County’s attainment goal. The group identified three key areas that would help reach the state’s credential goal: an increased need for subsidized pre-k & 5-star childcare slots, increased rates of adult degree attainment, and the need for affordable housing solutions for educators at all levels with Person County.
