Piedmont Community College (PCC) is pleased to announce its new partnership with North Carolina State University (NC State) through their new guaranteed admissions program, Wolfpack Connect.

PCC students who earn an associate degree from PCC, maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher and meet NC State’s transfer admission deadlines can enroll in more than 100 eligible NC State majors and concentrations.

“This partnership with NC State represents an incredible opportunity for our students and our region,” Dr. Kevin Lee, PCC President said. “The Wolfpack Connect program creates a clear and guaranteed pathway for PCC students to continue their education at one of North Carolina’s premier universities. It reflects our shared commitment to making higher education more affordable and accessible. At PCC, we are proud to help our students take this important next step toward achieving their academic and career dreams.”

“This program has the potential to transform lives and uplift communities across our state,” said N.C. State Chancellor Kevin Howell. “It reflects the very heart of our land-grant mission to serve the people of North Carolina through education and opportunity. I’m thrilled to open up yet another pathway for students to pursue their goals and dreams.”

To be eligible for Wolfpack Connect, students must have fewer than 30 transferable credits completed or in progress, be currently enrolled at PCC, and plan to pursue an eligible major or concentration at NC State.

More information can be found by visiting NC State’s Wolfpack Connect page. Eligibility forms will be accepted starting late January 2026 for students starting the program fall 2026. Eligibility forms are due by June 1.
