The Marketing and Communications department provides limited photography services for major college events, particularly when the photographs have the potential for marketing or archival projects.

If we are unable to attend, you may be asked to take a few photos. College personnel are encouraged to familiarize themselves with basic photography principles. When submitting photos, be sure to email them as “actual size” to maintain the photo quality. Minors may not be photographed without parental consent.

Because PCC’s campuses are public settings, implied consent is often used for on-campus photography. It is always used for large-scale events such as Commencement, Honors Convocation, etc.

These guidelines represent our usual practices, but exceptions may be made based on availability and level of importance. We encourage you to submit Marketing requests, understanding that we may not be able to accommodate every request due to capacity constraints or alignment with broader marketing priorities.
