What is the Winter Session?

This is an accelerated four-week semester, running from December 8 to January 2, 2026, which enables students to earn credits toward a degree at PCC or transfer to a four-year college or university.

Please be aware these courses are fast paced. Because they move quickly, it is essential to stay on top of the weekly readings, assignments, and activities. Please make sure you’re checking deadlines regularly and keeping up with the workload—falling behind even a little can make it difficult to catch up later.

If you run into any problems—whether it’s confusion about course content, trouble accessing materials, or technical issues—reach out right away.

  • For course-related questions, contact your instructor as soon as possible for help.
  • For technology issues, please get in touch with IT support immediately so they can resolve the problem before it affects your progress.

We’re here to support your success, and early communication makes all the difference!
