PCC Foundation Scholarship Application-for Curriculum Students
The 24/25 PCC Foundation Scholarship application is currently closed for new applicants. Please call the foundation office at (336) 322-2105 if you have any questions about scholarships or your pending application. If additional scholarships remain, the application will be re-opened, and students will be notified.
Over 100 scholarships are available! Enrolled full-time in a Career & Technical or Teacher Preparation program? You could qualify for FULL TUITION FUNDING from the Pacer Promise Program – all in this one application!
Application Guidelines & Selection Process
- To be considered for a scholarship, you must complete the current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and supply all necessary documentation to the Financial Aid office prior to the deadline. Click here to learn more about Financial Aid.
- Complete the scholarship application, including the essay questions. Tell your story in more than one sentence so the committee can have a full understanding of your current need.
- Ask two people to provide a letter of recommendation and email them to: pccfoundation@piedmontcc.edu. It’s a great idea to follow-up on your request. New letters of recommendation are required each academic year. The academic year begins with summer semester and ends with spring semester.
- You can apply for funding for summer, fall, and spring semesters in the same application. If you apply for multiple terms, your application will be reconsidered prior to the start of the term.
- Enroll in at least 6 credit hours for fall and spring semester and have a GPA of at least 2.0. Enroll in at least 3 credit hours for summer semester.
- Scholarships awarded through the Foundation are only for use at Piedmont Community College and are applied after other grant funding, if needed. Scholarship awards are not refunded to the student if unused.
- Scholarships do not require repayment unless the terms of the scholarship are violated.
- All scholarships are competitive and are based on criteria established by donors.
- The selection committee assigns numerical scores to each essay question based on content, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Please monitor your student email for scholarship information.
