Piedmont Community College (PCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Reggie J. Browning as its new Vice President, Administrative Services/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective April 10.
Browning brings a wealth of experience in financial management to his new role at PCC. With more than 20 years of experience in financial positions, he has a proven track record of fiscal responsibility.
In his role as CFO, Browning will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations at PCC, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting and strategic financial planning. He will oversee the
Business Office, Facility Services, Human Resources and Organizational Development, Auxiliary Services and Security. He will work closely with the college’s leadership team to ensure the effective allocation of resources in support of PCC’s mission of providing high-quality education and workforce training opportunities to the community.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Browning to the PCC family,” Dr. Pamela G. Senegal, PCC President said. “His financial expertise and prior community college experience make him an invaluable addition to our team.”
Prior to joining PCC, Browning has held financial leadership positions in both the public and private sectors, including Vice President of Finance, Operations, and Administration/CFO/Chief Operating Officer (COO)/Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Limestone University in Gaffney, South Carolina and CFO, Director of Finance at Spartanburg Community College in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he has also taught courses in accounting, finance and management for over 10 years.

Browning holds a Doctor of Education in Professional Leadership from Converse University in Spartanburg, South Carolina; Master in Business Administration and Accounting from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri; and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Carolina – Columbia in Columbia, South Carolina. He is committed to leveraging his financial expertise to support PCC in achieving its strategic goals and enhancing the educational experience for students.
