Who may qualify for VA Education benefits?
- Veterans
- Disabled veterans that were discharged from active duty for a service-connected disability
- Eligible dependents (children or spouses)
- Children or spouses of Total 7 Permanent disabled veterans whose death or disability occurred while in military service
- Eligible Reservists or National Guard
- Armed Forces servicemembers must have entered service on or before July 1st, 1985 and contributed toward their education under the Montgomery GI Bill®
Applying for VA Education Benefits
- Complete your online application for benefits at https://www.va.gov/education/how-to-apply/
- Complete your application for PCC Admissions
- Submit high school and all college transcripts
- Submit your Certificate of Eligibility to the Financial Aid Office
- Complete the Enrollment Verification Form for the semester that you wish to attend
NC National Guard Tuition Assistance
- Must have received approval from Educational Service Office (ESO) from their assigned duty station
- For further assistance please contact the Financial Aid Office
VA Student Requirements
- Must pursue exact curriculum for you selected program as listed in the PCC catalog.
- Students cannot be certified for classes outside of their chosen program
- Report any course or schedule changes to your School Certifying Official
