Spring 2025 Bookstore Ordering Procedures
Ordering
Students must have access to their schedules when ordering books for both in-store and online purchases to ensure the materials ordered are correct; as a reminder, bookstore staff members do not have access to student schedules.
The bookstore does not carry laptops, iPads, or Air Pods in the store; these items must be ordered. When ordering these products, students should allow 1-2 weeks for delivery. If students are using financial aid, all orders must be course related. Apple watches, cameras, gaming products, health and beauty products are not permitted.
Some courses require digital materials; students who purchase digital materials will receive a receipt in store and online with a link to a website to set up individual accounts.
Payment
Students can begin placing Spring 2025 book orders ONLINE beginning December 30, 2024. Orders will begin being processed on January 2, 2025 when campus reopens from the holiday break.
Instore purchases will begin on January 2.
Orders will be cancelled if there are insufficient funds on a student’s card or account. All students are encouraged to confirm that enough financial aid funds are in their accounts before placing orders.
Shipping
Online orders can be shipped to a student’s residence for a small shipping fee included with online orders.
Students on the Caswell County Campus can order online; orders will be sent to the Caswell County Campus using the interoffice mail system. Students must place a note in the comments section of their order that says, “Ship to Caswell.” There is no fee for this service.
If the bookstore does not have an ordered item in the condition a student is requesting (ex: new, used), it may take a few extra days in shipping to arrive at the store or residence; all students are highly encouraged to place orders as early as possible.
Expedited shipping starts from the time the carrier picks up the order until it is delivered to a student’s residence.
Students ordering online will receive an order confirmation which means the bookstore has received the order and is working on it. No funds are charged until the bookstore fulfills a student’s online order. Students will receive order updates (ex: a notification that an item is ready for pickup, a tracking number if an item is shipped to a student’s residence, etc.).
Bookstore Refund Policy:
The original receipt is required for any refunds or exchanges. The book must be in the exact original condition as when purchased. All shrink-wrapped packages must be unopened. All opened or re-sealed shrink-wrapped packages will not be refunded.
Returns or exchanges can only be made during specified time periods. Refunds will be allowed the first 5 days of class.
No refunds on GED, TEAS, or Notary Public books.
Apparel and gift items purchased at the PCC Bookstore may be exchanged or refunded. You must have the original receipt and the merchandise must be in original condition for the exchange or refund.
