Piedmont Community College (PCC) hosted a pinning ceremony on May 13, 2024, at the Barnette Auditorium in Building D on the Person County Campus, celebrating the accomplishments of graduates from the Medical Assisting program.

With family, friends, faculty, staff and administration in attendance, graduates received their pins and recited the Medical Assisting Creed. The Medical Assisting class of 2024 received a 100% pass rate on their certification exam and can now work as certified medical assistants.

The Medical Assisting graduates are as follows: Atleigh Clayton, Allison Coleman, Danielle Didomenico, Mallory Eriksen, Alyssa King, Ebonee Price, Peaches Raglin, Sherry Royster, Damon Sprinkle, Nancy Thompson, Simone Vanterpool and Ashton Williams.

The Medical Assisting curriculum prepares multi-skilled health care professionals qualified to perform administrative, clinical and laboratory procedures in the outpatient medical office setting. For more information about PCC’s Medical Assisting program, visit www.piedmontcc.edu/medicalassisting.
