Library Account Information
Your library account will be your college ID number followed by PCC. To check out materials or to use reserve materials in the library, you will need to provide your name or your student/employee college ID number when services are provided. The library will verify that the staff is checking out materials to the correct person by asking for your address or phone number.

The Learning Commons staff will set-up an account for you and send you a confirmation e-mail.Community users may obtain a library card by visiting the library from the Information Desk by presenting a valid North Carolina ID. The replacement cost for a lost or damaged regular library card is $1.00.

Other Library Services
The Information Desk is located on the lower level of Building H. Books and other materials are checked out from this desk. Librarians are available to assist you with information and reference questions.
Inter-library Loan
Students, faculty, and staff may borrow materials from other libraries (North Carolina Community College Libraries) in the area, state, or region that are unavailable in either PCC campus library.
Although borrowing books is usually free, users must pay for photocopies.
To request a book or article through inter-library loan, complete an Inter-library Loan Request Form online for a book or an article.
Printing and Copying
Printing is free; bring your own paper.
Reserves
Instructors place books, articles, audiovisuals, or other items on reserve for students in their classes. Items designated for library use only must be used inside the Library. Other items circulate for varying periods. Reserves are checked out at the Information Desk.
