On Wednesday, October 25, the Piedmont Community College Foundation hosted an award ceremony for the State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU) Bridge to Career Scholarship Program.

During the event, the College received a check for $18,000 from the SECU Foundation for the 23-24 academic year.

The Program helps remove financial barriers for students seeking to obtain state-regulated or industry-recognized credentials that lead to sustainable wage careers within their communities.

SECU representatives also recognized the People Helping People Scholarship recipient. The SECU Foundation established the scholarship program to assist students across North Carolina with their educational goals.
